Dear HICC members, As you all are aware of situation regarding Tom Bas park grounds. HCL has been notified by Harris County Parks department that conty is planning to not renew the leases of all five grounds after October 2008 as they planning to use it for some other purpose. It will  be bad for cricket in Houston. HCL is trying all it can to save them. For that purpose we all need to get involve and support HCL and do our part. One way we can convince County Officials by our involvement in political process by supporting the candidates who shares our views. In tomorrow's Harris County Judge election we can support Mr. Ed Emmett. See the HCL President's Message below:

                                I had the opportunity to meet with Judge Ed Emmett yesterday. I was impressed by his views and plans and therefore ENDORSE him for The County Judge. Under his Leadership, our communities can do better. The elections are tomorrow therefore we need your help. Please encourage all whom you know, your families, friends, neighbors, all should go out and support, VOTE for JUDGE ED EMMETT.
