I think that we have a lot of matches where there is a lot of wind. I thought this might be helpful for our team.
Questioin: What is the best way to practice bowling and batting to combat very strong and fluctuating winds?
Answer by Geffery Boycott: The only way you can bowl decently, and I don't say well but decently, against the wind is: don't fight the element.Cut down your pace and settle for better accuracy. Use the slower ball a bit, a Yorker. You will just have to go a little more defensive, with an extra fielder or two saving runs, and accept the fact that if you are bowling against the wind, the wind will always win.
